Dasna Gate Ghaziabad

Initially Ghaziabad called Ghaziuddinnagar, after its founder Ghazi-ud-din Siddiqi Feroz Jung, a general of the Mughal empire, who established it in 1740. For close to three centuries, the four gates or 'Char Darwaza' of the walled city — Sihani gate, Dasna gate, Delhi gate and Naya gate.

Of the four gates, only two remain, partly encroached, while there is no trace of the other two. There is no trace of Sihani gate, which was located near the present-day Navyug market, or Naya gate (also called the Shahi, Bazar and Jawahar gate at various times in its history) near the town hall.
